Clyde

Clyde's Prickly Ride is the second book in the Capital Adventure picture book series.  It is another collaborative project by Canberra author Angela Moyle who wrote the story and artist Ian Coate who again brought the characters to life with his charming and visually beautiful illustrations.

The book was launched in April 2015 at Harry Hartog in Woden.

About Clyde's Prickly Ride

This delightfully illustrated picture book is about a young echidna called Clyde who is not happy with all the crowds who tramp through his habitat every year in spring.

One day he is lured out of his hiding spot and ends up on the adventure ride of his life!  When he is able to see his park from another perspective, he realises why so many love to visit his beautiful flower-filled park.

Once again, the wayward native animal is rescued by the ever-patient and caring ACT Parks & Wildlife Ranger.

The book can be purchased in several popular book and gift stores in Canberra.  It is also available to buy online here.

The following clip is a short book preview to give you an idea and a glimpse at some of the stunning illustrations that are in the book.
